USCIS Case Tracker (the "Service") is operated by FADI IT Solutions LLC ("FADI IT Solutions LLC," "Company," "we," "our," or "us"). FADI IT Solutions LLC is the entity responsible and accountable for enforcing this Privacy Policy and our data-handling practices.

At USCIS Case Tracker, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our immigration case tracking platform.

1. Types of Data Collected

We collect the following categories of data:

  • USCIS receipt numbers / case receipt numbers and other case identifiers (used to query and track case status updates via the USCIS API). Receipt numbers are considered personal identifiers (PII).
  • Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
  • Case-related legal data entered by the user
  • Geolocation data (only if necessary and with consent)
  • Technical device data (browser, OS, IP)
  • Payment details (via third-party processors — we do not store card info)
  • User usage patterns within the application

We do not collect:

  • Medical information
  • Genetic or family history information
  • Contacts from your device

2. How We Use Data

We use your data to:

  • Operate and improve the application
  • Notify users about case status updates
  • Communicate product updates or changes
  • Ensure security, anti-fraud, and performance optimization
  • Provide support services

De-identified, anonymized, or pseudonymized data may be used internally for analytics or performance insights, but never shared or sold without consent.

3. Entities With Whom Data is Shared

FADI IT Solutions LLC is the controller responsible for enforcement of this Privacy Policy and oversight of third-party processors.

We may share user data only with:

  • Service providers (e.g. payment processors, email/SMS delivery tools)
  • Cloud and infrastructure providers (e.g. Supabase, Vercel)
  • Legal/government entities (only if required by law)

We do not share data with advertisers or marketing firms. All third-party partners are under strict data processing agreements and must comply with our Privacy Policy.

4. Data Sale and Monetization

We do not sell user data — not for profit, not for partnerships, and not under any other transaction.

5. User Control & Choices

  • Users can control how and when their data is shared, with opt-ins and opt-outs clearly presented.
  • We explain the risks, benefits, and limitations of sharing any data (e.g. reminders that shared data may affect legal confidentiality).
  • Data shared about one user will never knowingly impact another party (e.g., genetic or legal info involving family or third parties).

6. Third-Party Use Restrictions

  • Third parties may not use or disclose your data — including anonymized data — unless explicitly authorized by the user.
  • All third-party service providers are bound by our privacy terms and data-sharing rules.

7. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach:

  • We will promptly notify affected users.
  • Provide steps they can take to protect themselves.
  • Cooperate fully with relevant authorities.

8. Data Retention Policy

  • User data is retained as long as the account is active.
  • Inactive accounts are flagged after 12 months, and data may be deleted after 24 months of inactivity unless required for legal/accounting reasons.
  • Users will be notified prior to deletion.

9. Data Deletion

Users can permanently delete their account and data at any time via:

  • In-app settings
  • Support email request

All data is erased from production and backup systems within 30 days of request.

10. Ownership Transfer & Business Changes

If the company is sold, merged, or dissolved:

  • We will notify all users.
  • Users will be offered:
    • A chance to export or delete their data
    • Continued service under equal or stronger privacy terms

We will not transfer data to a buyer without updating users and obtaining active consent if terms change.

11. Account Closure

Users may close their accounts at any time via in-app tools or by contacting support.

12. Policy Changes & Consent

  • Any material change in our Privacy Policy or Terms of Service will require active user consent.
  • A summary of changes will be provided in plain language before acceptance.
